I am a confident and tenacious junior Php/MySQL back-end developer with complementary front-end exposure to CSS/Bootstrap/HTML and Javascript. At present, I have taken the lead role in migrating a static HTML website to a database driven venue with a Bootstrap framework front-end and Laravel. I'm looking forward to bigger challenges in a larger organisation as a junior developer that will increase my experience of cloud services and additional frameworks. I have also led the development of two B2C sites with e-commerce payments including Bitcoin.

Experience

Web Developer

Radenite Limited

As an application developer specializing in PHP for a site selling lithium-ion batteries, my primary responsibilities encompass several key areas. First and foremost, I'm responsible for designing, coding, and modifying the website, ensuring it's visually appealing and user-friendly. I ensure the site is secure to protect sensitive customer data and prevent cyber threats. I also build the site to be scalable, allowing it to handle increased traffic and transactions as the business grows. I'm in charge of implementing a simple content management system, enabling non-technical staff to easily update product listings and other content. Additionally, I work on SEO optimization, ensuring the site is easily discoverable by search engines and ranks high for relevant keywords. This involves optimizing site speed, ensuring mobile-friendliness, and incorporating SEO-friendly meta tags and keywords in the site content.

After the launch of this B2B site I undertook the lead in developing two B2C sites, NCR18650B.com and SolaxBattery.com.

I regularly monitor and analyze site performance and make necessary adjustments to improve its efficiency and effectiveness.

June 2021 - Present

Trainee Database Administrator

Radenite Limited

As a trainee database administrator in MySQL, specifically in charge of battery parts inventory and battery stock inventory, my primary responsibilities include creating, managing, and maintaining databases related to these inventories. I ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility at all times. I'm also responsible for implementing and testing database structures, optimizing database performance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Regularly, I update and modify the database to reflect changes in inventory and generate reports to provide insights into inventory levels, sales, and trends. I work closely with other teams, such as the procurement and sales departments, to ensure that the database accurately reflects the current inventory status and future needs.
